It takes a PugVillage

Over the last day, we've had a surge in hits on this Web site, leading to a new high since I began tracking these things a few months ago. Nearly 10 billion unique visitors on Wednesday. It would no doubt be humbling if I were not already so modest. Most of these newcomers have come from the PugVillage forums, where a good Samaritan posted a link to this ministry. So I would like to extend a warm Pug Life welcome to all of the new visitors. I invite you to stop by anytime, and please feel free to join in the discussions by adding comments of your own.

As a wise pug once said: A stranger is just a friend you haven't sniffed.

Dawn, Maria, Abe/Happy -- welcome to Pug Life. Thanks for stopping by. We can never have too many Ozpuggers here, mate. By all means, send them this way.

While your blog was insightful to say the least, the reference to the link of Pug Village seemed a bit of unappropriate.
As a long time lurker there,it is saddening in a way to see such steering of personal beliefs to the sight. While I do not post there, I read most ofton and the apparently good hearted people there seem to care greatly about those who share postings with them, but they seem to be reserved individuals who in fairness and respect to each other, keep their personal beliefs to themselves. Judging by the family like atmosphere there , it seems this approach works quite well.
Only my entitled thoughts,as you have yours.

Anonymous No. 3,
I will decide what is "unappropriate" for my "sight." Someone on PugVillage posted a link to this site, and I linked back to that forum as a way to thank the villagers and expose readers of this blog to PugVillage. I also sought to welcome any PugVillagers who chose to visit this blog. How anyone could find that threatening, frankly, is beyond me.

I am sorry that you allow yourself to be saddened by a bearded pug in a blue turban.
