Oh, the indignity

My mother pulled that Revolution trick on me again today. I hate that. Why must I fall for it every single month? And then, to add insult to injury, she spent what seemed like an eternity cleaning out my wrinkle. Is that any way to treat a world-renowned religious icon? I'll bet nobody goes digging in Billy Graham's wrinkles.

But you must look your best for all your faithful followers. You should think of it like spending the day at the spa!

Oh Great One! I can assure you if Billy Graham's mother was alive, she would be cleaning his wrinkles if it were needed! Moms are hardwired that way. Thank Allah that you have an attentive mother. We are never too old or wise to accept a mother's love.

Our mother did that Revolution indignity today as well...We could so show her a revolution--but there is the dog cookie thing that happens after...Patches and Daisy (the Border Patrol in OKC)

my peepol do that to me too. the worst part is that when the fur between my shoulders gets all spikey, nobody will pet me.

Yes, Ivy, and then the only remedy for the spikey fur is a bath. And that is not a desirable outcome.

I'd forgotten about the dog cookie, Upwiththesun. I guess there is a silver lining.

Leslee and Anonymous One, while I realize that you are probably right, that doesn't mean I have to like it.
