Bad news, good news

That unmistakable sound is back. Only three weeks after our last national tragedy, my refrigerator is dying -- again. It starts with a click, then a grating hum, worse than claws on a chalkboard. And now the packages in the freezer are beginning to go soft. I pray that the warranty on the previous $215 repair will cover the costs.

In happier news, I have rediscovered my tennis ball. How did I go so long without you, Wilson?

Did you and Wilson become friends while stranded together as castaways on a deserted island?

I am offering up many prayers that no dog food needs to be sacrificed to the garbage can during your refrigerator troubles.

Oops - I hope your doggie food isn't in the fridge ! Now, that would be a dogastrophe !!! Doesn't matter so much about the humans food :-)

It's a good thing that rawhides don't need refrigeration.

Do you think it has anything to do with the cats that were hanging around? Gus,Tank,Milo Pugs

The cat! It is a saboteur! Thank you, Gus, Tank and Milo. The cat is probably also responsible for the horrible customer "service" line at Frigidaire.

I've never been to a deserted island, Eagle, but that movie might have had something to do with Wilson's name. Thank you for your prayers.

Yes, JMG, another reason that rawhide is the greatest substance known to dog.

Thank you for your concern, Opy. And welcome to the congregation. My dogfood, thank Allah, is safe. But I still like to eat the human food whenever I get a chance, so I mourn its loss.
