Activist ayatollah

To be an effective ayatollah, one must know when to take a stand. On Saturday, I protested an injustice.

Way to go, Mugsy! Enlighten those to the KISS Army!

Just thinkin', isn't it a remarkable coincidence that this protest has happened on the eve of The Gene Simmons Family Jewels?

Pathetically, I'm TiVO-ing the show.

Have I been duped by a savvy PR campaign? Even if I have, it was still fun to put the makeup on again. Welcome to the congregation, Sarah O.

My Friend,
It is nice to see that you can step away from the "dogma" of our religions and enjoy participating in something current and fun. You looked very handsome in the facepaint. Perhaps you should keep the star! Rabbi Jake

Welcome to the congregation, Bogart! Just a few days ago, I was saying to myself, "We need more Airedale terriers in the mix."

Thanks, Jake. I picked up some Ace Frehley makeup for you, and I've contacted Yogi the Pug to see if he would be interested in the Gene Simmons role. As you can see, he has the tongue for the job: www.yogithepug.com. The problem will be finding a canine willing to wear that silly cat-face makeup.

Ayatollah,

You are indeed one of the hippest pooches out there. No wonder the women love you!

Just say the word, oh great one, and I would follow you anywhere, for any cause, even sacrificing my own safety if say, for instance, you wanted to lead me into that great scarey abyss (aka Texas Stadium) in order to assist you in your plight.

Of note is the fact that "The Eagles" are already inductees into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame.

I did like your makeup. Kind of makes us all realize that even though you are a great spiritual leader, you are also a real "person" like the rest of us.

who did your makeup?

Thank you, Boomer. Perhaps I can meet some groupie pugs.

I am not quite to the Texas Stadium level, Eagle. Although Billy Graham often preaches there, so it could be only a matter of time.

I sent you an e-mail, Hunter.

My mother did my makeup, Leslee. She says drawing the star was the hardest part.

Well, I can't tell that she was having trouble, the makeup looked amazing!

Thank you, Leslee. Perhaps I have found my next Pug-O-Ween costume.
