Here at Pug Life Ministries, we are committed to providing a wide range of social services. We feed the poor. We give belly rubs to the elderly. We offer counseling for unwed mothers (and sadly, there are many in the canine community). As the Prophet Muhammad said, "Charity is a necessity for every Muslim." And we take this important lesson to heart. Just moments ago, our social services program was able to reunite a runaway with her parents. I was returning from a trip to the library when I spotted Molly wandering my neighborhood. She was all alone, so I invited her to stay at the mosque for a while. I gave her some cold water and food. She happily drank the water but declined the food, so I made sure that it did not go to waste. After giving Molly a thorough sniffing and praying with her, I was finally able to contact her parents, who did not realize that she had run away. Molly's mother rushed over to retrieve her daughter, and Molly seemed quite happy to see her. Chalk up another tail-wagging victory for Pug Life Ministries. Charitable deeds

You are truly a great example to us all! I must draw your attention to a injustice. If you are familiar with the Frontline Plus commericals, you may have noticed that it is always the fawn pug that has the fleas. I believe that this is a grave insult to pugs. Should we forgive the giant commericial monster or boycott the product?
This is a vexing question, Anonymous One. Should we boycott Frontline for its negative portrayal of pugs, or should we praise it for giving a pug actor a job? Allah knows there are too many companies that are unwilling to hire pugs for any position. Take Wal-Mart, for example. It won't even hire pugs as greeters. I will meditate on this, but I am inclined to forgive if it is just a one-commercial instance. If there is a continuing pattern of flea-ridden pugs in Frontline's ads, then a protest may be in order. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Bam-Bam and I too have found this frontline commercial to be very offensive. It plays to the injust stereotype that all pugs are flea ridden!
