Let us pray

I would like to thank Conan the Chihuahua for bringing some much-needed publicity to the Buddhist wing of Pug Life Ministries. Although, frankly, I find the first paragraph of this story about the praying pooch to be a bit condescending.

"EVEN dogs pray" ???????
Obviously (and sadly), humans have a long way to go in the interspecies ministry. I'm embarassed to be one of them. You have my solemn vow, Ayatollah, to spread your word among my kind.

If you look closely, it looks like his front legs are either tied or banded into the praying position doesn't it? I think these monks are abusing little conan and we might need to whip up on a little holier than thou backside.

*sighs*

Don't you know that the concubines pray that way?

Embarassment is the first step toward redemption, Sarah S. You do the human race proud.

Thank you, Nevis. The media tend to ignore us spiritual canines, so I was eager to share this story.

If true, Lucy, this could be a scandal on the order of the Doggonamo Bay fiasco. I will order an investigation immediately.

Of course I know, Nan and B.A.G.S. Who do you think taught the concubines to pray?
