The soundtrack of our lives

Let us all take a moment of silence for Frankie Laine. The "Rawhide" singer passed away Tuesday at age 93. He sang it; we canines live it. Peace be upon you, Frankie.

So sad to hear. But mummy doesnt allow rawhide hence I am at a disadvantage.

On a seperate note - did you know that the Tate museum in London is having a Hogarth exhibit? You might know him because he painted our breed so fabulously! I think you and the ministry needs to check it out!

I did not know that, Aine. Thank you for passing that along. I will actually have the privilege of spending a day in late April in London, where I will be barking at a canine clerics' conference, so perhaps I can visit the Tate.

Truely the soundtrack of our lives. A sad day indeed.

*gasp* Oh Holy Mugsy! I am so jealous! I would love to go with you - but alas - mummy says I can't. Something about me being a girl pug - you a boy pug - and it is "just not done" since I am a single girl puggie. (Silly mummy - doesn't she know I am FIXED? anywaysssss) Please give us a full detail of your visit when you come back!!! April is a great time to visit London - My mummy was there at that time. Make sure to take your walkies in the lovely parks there! Aine

Oh, that's so sad. Do you think it's related to Anna Nicole in anyway?

I doubt it, Leslee. But I wouldn't put anything past that Howard K. Stern.

Thank you all for paying respects to this icon of canine music.
